Founder Story
A community built on connection, visibility, and shared purpose.
VOWI was founded by Erila, driven by a vision to create a supportive and action-oriented space where women in innovation can connect, collaborate, share opportunities, and openly discuss the challenges they face across industries.
Beyond networking, VOWI exists to amplify women's voices in innovation by creating greater visibility for women founders, chief innovation officers, researchers, creators, and changemakers whose stories, expertise, and contributions are too often overlooked.
Through open discussions, advocacy, research, and global collaboration, VOWI aims to shed light on how products, services, systems, and industries have historically underserved or excluded women, while encouraging conversations and solutions that drive more inclusive innovation across sectors.

What began as a personal initiative has now grown into a vibrant international community of 40+ members across 20 countries. Today, VOWI continues to build a global ecosystem that empowers women to lead innovation more visibly, collaboratively, and inclusively across industries and borders.
